Sweat for IBF
5K, 10K, Half & Full Marathons Races
Although having asthma, Blaine strived to stay healthy and active. Working out, even with his health obstacles, is what made Blaine a special person. He enjoyed going to the gym with his dad and encouraged his entire family to stay strong.
Blaine’s sister Linden Schulz, and cousins, Abby Schulz and Ashley Swanson, are avid runners. They run miles on their family farm and casual runs through their neighborhoods. They participate in 5K’s, 10K’s, Half & Full Marathons. Strollers in hand and dogs by their sides, these girls are committed. All proceeds from Sweat 4 IBF races go towards one of the 3 IBF causes: asthma, diabetes, families of fallen soldiers.

Chicago Maraton | 10.10.21
Blaine’s cousin, Abby Schulz, will be running the Chicago Marathon this fall on behalf of the Sweat 4 IBF initiative. She is so excited to support the cause and raise money for Asthma education + supplies in the Des Moines area. We would love your support!

Des Moines Marathon 2019
Mallory Schulz continued the Sweat 4 IBF initiative by running in the Des Moines Marathon on October 20, 2019.
South jordan Half Marathon 2018
Abby Schulz kicked off the Sweat 4 IBF initiative by participating in the South Jordan Half Marathon on October 20, 2018. Her training was inspired by Blaine's positivity and passion for being active. All proceeds went towards supporting the youth of Des Moines, Iowa who struggle with asthma. The funds helped to educate children on day-to-day asthma maintenance through sport-related activity and helped to purchase necessary supplies, such as inhaler extenders, nebulizers, and more.
