Jeff Schulz

Founder, Insaneo Blaineo Foundation

Jeff is the father of Blaine and is dedicated to keeping his memory alive through the three causes and five events mentioned in this website.  Jeff is very proud of his immediate and extended family, who serve as volunteers, participants and support in a number of ways.  In 2015, four months after my son’s passing, we founded The Insaneo Blaineo Foundation but I really struggled with finding a name - a name to truly encompass and commemorate my son, Blaine Schulz. One day, my daughter said “Why don’t you call it the Insaneo Blaineo Foundation?” “What?", I quickly responded. “Well, when he was having one of his goofy moments, his friends would say ‘Blaine is just having an Insaneo Blaineo Moment’.” It stuck.

Aside from his time with the Insaneo Blaineo Foundation Jeff is owner of Heroes For Home Care a full-service in-home health service and a member of Longbranch Watershed LLC.  As Blaine would say “DO GOOD.”

Executive Director and Cofounder, Insaneo Blaineo Foundation

Currently serves as the Executive Director of The Insaneo Blaineo Foundation. Zach attended Waubonsee Community College and received his Associates Degree in Art. He is currently foreman of The Longbranch Watershed, our century-old family farm. As cousins, Zach and Blaine shared a special bond and friendship, along with a mutual love for all things Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Iowa Hawkeyes. He is dedicated to keeping Blaine’s spirit alive through the foundation.
